Ramon Mesa Ledesma is a poet that is currently residing in Skagit County, Washington. He was born in Toppenish, Washington into a family of sixteen siblings, and spent much of his childhood living and working in migrant labor camps. His poetry books, Migrant Sun and Migrant Earth, draw upon his own and other’s experiences as migrant workers in the American Northwest in the twentieth century.

We created a website for Ramon that reflect the roots and inspiration of his writing, and that provides a place for other’s to learn about Ramon’s work and the lives of migrant workers.
